Profile
The course will provide TB and HiV/AIDS managers with necessary skills to plan, budget, implement and monitor TB/HIV collaborative projects and programmes.
Structure The training is interactive and exercise-based. Emphasis is on improving skills and attitude. Exercises are based on data fictitious countries in which all TB/HIV collaborative activities take place. A brochure, including all relevant data on the country is available to support the exercises. The training methodology comprises game plays, exercises worked in small groups and presentations. Game plays are designed and conducted to feature real situations that participants need to cope with in countries to develop TB/HIV collaborative activities.
Presentations and discussions are also proposed, based on selected country experiences (e.g. Malawi, Ethiopia) and on participants’ own experiences.
A field visit to the Ethiopian TB/HIV delivery services in Addis Ababa will be organised during the course.
