We are pleased to invite
you to the 20th IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion:
Health, Equity and Sustainable Development that
will take place in Geneva, Switzerland. The conference
aims to build bridges between the fields of health promotion
and sustainable development.
The conference will provide opportunities to:
• present and discuss state-of-the-art knowledge
and cross-cutting issues in health promotion and sustainable
development
• showcase and challenge best practice in health
promotion, with focus on sustainability, and
• initiate strong alliances and partnerships for
promoting sound policies and practices that positively
impact the health of people, societies and the planet.
We expect over two thousand professionals and decisionmakers
from all over the world from the fields of health promotion,
public health and sustainable development.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Geneva!
Distinguished speakers will provide their newest insights
and share their opinions on the:
• essential health promotion policies and strategies
for the public and private sector to overcome social,
cultural, and economic challenges that influence health;
• health of populations, the social and the natural
environments globally and locally from health promotion
and sustainable development perspectives;
• innovative perspectives on territorial change,
governance and urbanisation in support of peoples’
