* Conduct successful TB interviews
* Understand the role of cultural competency in TB care

The Francis J. Curry National Tuberculosis Center (CNTC) introduced the Nurse-to-Nurse training program in 2007 in an effort to directly and personally bring tuberculosis training to nurses working in the field. Each training session will be 4-8 hours in length, for groups of 8-30 and the topic areas for training will be jointly determined by the hosting jurisdiction and CNTC’s Nurse Consultant. Partnership with local faculty is encouraged, particularly for full-day trainings. We are now accepting applications from jurisdictions within our Western Region service area for 5 Nurse-to-Nurse trainings to be scheduled in 2010.
