Content |

Objectives:
The programmes aim to provide high quality teaching and
learning in generic and international public health for
postgraduates from medical and non-medical backgrounds
in:
- a sound evidence base for international public health
- a multi-disciplinary approach to the practice of
public health
- skills to cope with changes in public health policies
and practice
- leadership skills in public health to manage, initiate,
implement and assess changes.

- Introduction to Health Promotion

| Requirements |
|
The Board of Admissions considers
candidates who have:
- a first or second class honours degree from a recognised
University
- an equivalent qualification in an appropriate subject,
provided equivalence is shown
- exceptionally, other candidates may be admitted on the
basis of a non-degree qualification, experience and evidence
of continuing professional development. In most cases,
such candidates will be requested to complete a test paper,
attend for interview and register for the Diploma in
the first instance.
- You should also possess English Language and Mathematics
qualifications at GCSE, grades A-C, or equivalent.
