Objectives/
Content |
|
The core objective of the IMAS is to promote sustainable human development which is equitable
and respectful of cultural and social diversity. More specifically, the course will teach the students to make a connection between their own professional contexts and the problems engendered by globalisation. They will acquire the tools to fully interpret a specific development issue and subsequently draft a thesis on the topic based on research carried out in the field. Finally, the course will strengthen the capacity of the students to make informed decisions when faced with issues that have an impact upon the collective interest (for the common good) and, by providing them with the chance to interact with students from other continents, enhance and enrich their own knowledge. For interested IMAS students, a complementary training in gender and development of 8 additional days is offered after the IMAS: info@genre-dev-contacts.org |
