* MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/
BIMS who have completed 4 ½ years full time course
plus one-year compulsory internship or
* BE/ BTech/ BCA/ BIT with above 60% marks in school and
graduation level and who desire to develop expertise in
Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) or
* Mid career professionals having graduation plus minimum
two years experience in a managerial capacity in hospitals
or health care organizations or
* Graduates from any discipline with excellent academic
track record (above 60% marks in school and graduation level)
can also be considered if found exceptionally bright
* Candidates from South-east Asian countries e.g. Bangladesh,
Nepal, Bhutan, Srilanka, Pakistan etc having graduation
with 2 years of work experience would be considered for
admission through tele-interviews. |

| Structure |
|
Being a fast track one-year
program the students are required to pass through rigorous
learning process and have to work 12 hours a day. They are
groomed to take up leadership roles in corporate hospitals
and healthcare organizations. The thrust of the program
is on developing their personality. The communication skills
are developed through rigorous practice. They are required
to make presentations, participate in group discussions
and role plays. They prepare reports of the assignments
that help in developing their writing skills. Lot of emphasis
is given to the Case Study method that facilitates developing
analytical and decision making skills. The students learn
to work in multicultural teams. |
