This course provides nurses, social workers, community workers, health services managers, health educators, Health-related NGO workers, etc an opportunity to gain sound knowledge as well as achieve high level of competence in STDs and HIV/AIDS. Participants will analyze series of concept related to prevention, health promotion and public health. The course will also offer them the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills needed for designing and managing health promotion projects within the communities, prevention techniques and look at other issues like ethics and human rights.
