In the Middle of rural Africa,
the Tanzanian Training Centre for International
Health Ifakara with its longstanding experience
in health training offers quality facilities
and services in a unique triangle of health
training, research and medical practice. In
collaboration with its neighbouring institutions,
the St. Francis Designated District Hospital
and the Ifakara Health Research and Development
Centre, it provides access to training and
research facilities and equipment as well
as to a 370-bed hospital with medical specialists
in paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, surgery, internal
medicine and public health.
You have the following quality facilities

rooms (AC, flip charts, PCs, internet
access, projectors) for 30 participants each

An auditorium for
120 participants (AC, projector)

laboratory for 12 participants (microscopes,
etc.)

and catering for 30 course participants

Course organisation
and facilitation (data base with local
health training staff, logistics, copy
service, etc.)
- Organisation of excursions to the nearby
Udzungwa National Park, Kilombero River,
Mikumi Game Reserve and other destinations.
